NEW POSITION!! October 2016 – PHP Website Developer

Leading Lancashire digital agency seeks PHP/Magento developer (experience with Magento Enterprise, Magento and Zend developer certification beneficial). Candidates must have strong programming and problem solving skills, an eye for detail and a perfectionist nature.

The role

The successful candidate will join an established team of website developers and digital marketers, with the job role involving a range of programming tasks including software design, documentation and the programming of elegant solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced web developer with a creative flair to join a well-established digital agency.

• PHP 2+ years commercial experience
• MySQL 2+ years commercial experience
• Magento 2+ years (Magento Enterprise experience a bonus)
• Zend or similar framework development 1+ years
• Strong awareness of current technologies (HTML5 / CSS3)
• JavaScript
• Photoshop
• Dreamweaver
• Knowledge of Flash animation is beneficial for use in banners and fallbacks (HTML5 Video for example)
• Knowledge of backends and Content Management Systems specifically Joomla 1.5 upwards and wordpress 3.0 upwards
• Strong awareness of cross browser compatibility issues and bugs
• Knowledge of both Mac and PC Operating systems
• Strong awareness of current technologies (HTML5 / CSS3)
• Knowledge of mobile compatible websites

Strong HTML – ability to create a HTML Template / page from scratch (not just slicing and exporting from Fireworks for example)
